My 8mm threads formed very well, and I ran them thru with one of my many 8mm taps. The tool insert block snapped right into the block holder...

Yes that should work just as well.

The width was verified against a number of different chucks to it has to be just the printing of my part. Sadly I dont have any inside mics and I dont know where my brother keeps his so even if I ran to his place I'd be out of luck

So I noticed another issue. The motor boss wont fit into the motor mount. It is printing smaller than the actual model. I made the tolerances too tight. I had to sand mine which is frikken annoying. I'm making new stl file with slightly larger opening..

I got my parts ready to install, but now I wont get to them tomorrow because I didn't get my amazon order in on time. My wife came home in a panic because she spotted a stray dog and made me go out and hunt it down. Then it had no collar so I had to run it to my vet before they closed.

Thank god the dog was chipped... because the last thing I need is a golden doodle the size of a horse.

well my parts were not printed with a ton of walls, so you can only remove so much material before you cut into the hollow infill section.

I'm just being whiny... sanding is not that hard but for the next people that print this I've uploaded a better file

No, she just gets emotional over lost dogs, because she remembers when ours went walkabout for about 1/2 hr after some idiot meter reader let them out o the yard.

She thought it was out over night because last night some people were looking for a dog named ricky. So I was calling ricky, hey ricky come here boy... but turns out this was choochoo, and had only been missing about an hour.

The owner was far too chill and seemed psychopathic not to be in distress that his dog was gone for a long while and was found near expressway where it could easily have been run down... the section of road has constant road kill...

It was a wonderful dog though, I'd have kept it, but Lynda would not be keen
