Spent the morning redoing the cad modeling for the grinder. Still not "done", but done enough that I can finish the axles for the platten attachment wheels. I had prints printed from the original model pre crash, but I made a call to flip the wheels end for end to what I originally had, so wanted to draw them to make sure it would be right. Still a few more things left to model until I'm back to where I was, but I'm not doing all the revisions and major design changes I made along the way. Still really bummed about losing those, as that was a major thing I wanted to highlight when I get to the point of doing a build thread on it. Oh well, something, something spilled milk......
Then I started cleaning up from my school work and took some pics of my final drafting project, and machine shop project (tap wrench). See If you can spot the difference between them......

We also made a prybar from c1045. Machined taper, forged pry end. Normalized, Hardened and tempered. What looks to be a crack in the tip is just a scratch. Just noticed it after taking the picture......Had a bit of a panic when I saw the pics lol

Should be pretty handy at work. Not sure I'll ever use the tap wrench, but it was a fun one....
