Recalculating.... Recalculating...... So this thing is closer to $370 landed (in AB)? Sounds like you paid about $20 for duty? The last one I got (not the same model) as about $320 landed and I sure don't recollect paying duty or tax?

@thriller007 How did you receive notice of duty and tax payable and how to pay it?

I was signed up for email notifications and they said shipment was on hold until I paid the duty and taxes. They sent me to their website to pay by credit card or PayPal. I thought that is was a possible scam so I looked the tracking number up on the DHL website and it was legit. Then today I had an odd notification that it was delivered? After a phone call I found out it was delivered to Canada Post and not to me. I do have a new Canada Post tracking number though.

You would save the extra tax compared here in BC and being in Calgary it would probably just come with DHL right to your door.

I find it hard to believe that DHL doesn't deliver to Sparwood?

Where was it handed over to Canada Post?

So I was a little confused with regard to the tracking number but after a phone call today it seems like the scales just made it to Burnaby. But I got the screen anyways.

Need the ordered date, and shipped date please. We will assume today is the delivered date.

Same as David and I, 1/2 the shipment on a Friday and now have to wait until next week to start installing.

Ordered on June 20th
In DHL tracking system July 5
Arrived Los Angeles July 7
Delivered via CP July 10

21 days total?

Does that sound right?

OK..... When did AliExpress stop offering paypal as the payment method? Not sure I want to use my CC up front to do this.

Well..... PayPal had no record of a transaction with AliExpress in 2019, so I guess I used my CC. Gad, my memory is fading as fast as my hearing LOL. Probably did pay Duty and Tax as well.

Ah...…. Visa shows a April 2019 transaction with AliExpress. CC it was.
