I heard once that the containers on the seaward? outside stacks on the container ships can be more prone to leaking and rust damage if the seals are weak but yours looks like it was lashed to the top of a rowboat.

That is the next upgrade to the CNC, hard part it is going to be at least a 2 complete disassemble re-assembly deal as measurements and part must be made using the existing machine. Good part is improved lubrication will be done at the same time.
So a guided tour is now "Stand here. Turn 360 degrees. Tour complete!"

Steel wool and WD40, wipe with paper towel.
Nice job cleaning up that rust. I guess it looked worse than it was in the photos. I had a vise that came in looking like that once and it also cleaned up ok but left some black staining. I didn't complain because they tossed in the vise for free when I bought the milling machine.

Fantastic David! But does make you wonder what their markup is.....
Not terribly concerned really given that what I paid delivered was about $800 less than the same machine from Busy Bee before delivery.

And since the budget had already been allocated for tools, getting a $460 refund means you can buy $460 of tooling and still be within budget (less cost of steel wool and WD40).
