Sadly, Dad passed yesterday afternoon and there's a pretty good chance making the clocks disappear is going to be one of my problems. Unfortunately, I would probably get more in brass scrap than I can as clocks......

He mentioned that it was going to be quick, we were pm'ing back and forth a bit and it stopped kinda mid conversation. Now, granted there were days between messages....

My condolences. A loss is never easy, even with very aged and ill.
I'm really sorry for your loss Don. Losing a parent or a child or a partner or a friend is never easy. It always feels so wrong. But I'm glad to hear that he is in a better place now.
