Our Motorcycles - Post What You Got

After many years waiting, I finally got this track-only bike back on the road. It was a track-prepped motorcycle so was missing all lights and street fairings. But the offset was it came with some other sweet parts. I finally had time this fall to source parts and clean it up.

Still want to clean up the overflow resevoir and swap the oem tachometer for a smaller unit.

I have an old street and dirt Susuki DS185 Enduro that I took all the lights off of. It sits unused right now. I'm not keen on biking at my age, but it might be cool for the odd trip into town. I prolly should get a scooter instead though......

The real question is, if your in the hack, who's driving? SWMBO perhapso_O

I think @JustaDB had me on alone with one leg on the left pedal, my right leg in the side car, my ass on some big bridge seat, and some kind of combo shifter/RrBrake on the left.

Probably a morph of the image of a comatose Susquatch tied to the roof of a minivan.

Sadist!

That thing looks scary fast, I realize it's not a drag bike, but what would it do the 1/4 mile in?

My street Mustang goes from 0 to 100MPH in <7 seconds (with slicks)

Let the good times roll!

Bone stock stats by Kawasaki are 10.97s quater mile and 6.02s 0-100mph.

I think folks have manged to bring it down to low 10s and even 9 with a bunch of bolt on parts.

I just ride it around to Tim Hortons and back lol!

I see that KTM (and therefore GasGas, Husqvarna and MV Augusta) are in dire straits. It’s not sounding promising unless they get a big cash injection.
Do any of those Companies actually have a clear lineage back to their namesakes? Or are they like the likes of Triumph, Norton, or Indian (or South Bend Lathes, for that matter), where they are simply the result of trying to cash in on a bought name?
Honestly, I kinda respect Enfield India a bit, as they actually bought and carried off, the entire Enfi4eld factory, and carried on making the same technology level, right up until they couldn't any more, and upgraded, if grudgingly! :)

KTM Group kept buying up smaller outfits, yet not learning anything from what they had acquired. Kinda hard to feel bad about that...

LOL. Nope, normal riding position. W/ the sidecar, you just have less chance of tipping over. Or, you could get a trike, or one of the Can-Ams.
Friends don't let friends do this!

Sorry, if you are a Can-Am converted snowmobile owner, but whether I am on a bike or in a car, like as not, the wave you get from me is gonna be decidedly skinny! Like, one finger.

If yer in a wheelchair, and it's the ONLY way you can ride, maybe a pass....
