@architect - no seal for the floor, but maybe some levelling compound in a couple low spots. The doorway from the old shop to the new shop has a few rough spots. The day I poured the floor was the hottest on record (like 34° C with 48° humidex). Thought I would vomit - had to float the floor at mach 3 as it was setting up fast. Got a couple dips in it but nothing horrible- poured a second pad at the same time for a 10x8 pool house. Anyway tis what the floor is and works!

By all means come for a visit!!

I know how you feel. Got a call from a buddy a few years back. Had a few yards of left over concrete in the mixer truck, it was mine if I wanted it. Hell ya I said and whipped together some forms for a shed pad. It was hotter than hell and the driver was worried it would set in the truck, so he poured at full blast - pad ended up bigger than planned. I never floated faster in my life. Lost the battle in the back corner, then sat down against the shady side of a tree and prayed my heart wouldn't blow a hole in my chest. Holy Crap!

Good on you to get so much done on such a hot day!

Just a quick update:

Stand built for the 48” box brake. 2” tubing x1/4 thick with swivel castors. Probably going to put in a bank of drawers for storage.

Welding area coming together. 1/4” plate for the top. Mess left for @Susquatch (wink wink)

Crammed in the Home Theatre. 10’-6” x 20’. So far it is amazing - just watching Lord of the Rings as a Test.

Machined up a Derilin plug for a gas powered water pump. O-ring groove was interesting to make, used a boring bar with a special “o-ring”’grooving tool.

Fabbed up some cabinets for the friendly neighbours

I have seen your old shop...... It wasn't as chaotic as mine, but it was pretty awesome anyway.

I'm thinking it's only a matter of time before you become human again.

Lemme guess...... you watch YouTube machining videos in there don't ya!

You’re provoking envy up there……….liking the details.

You have neighbours that go around in circles?
