Whelp, there goes the neighborhood.

From 2010 to 2021 I sold and installed this equipment, tower fans for frost control in orchards and vineyards.
Over 200 of them.
It was by far the best and most lucrative job I ever had.
The LPG version had a Ford V10 factory industrial engine package that was tuned to 170 hp at operating speed if I recall was 2670 rpm.
Fuel consumption was around 38-42 litres per hour.
We had to use these because they were EPA certified for stationary industrial engines.
They were specifically designed for LPG fuel
There were also 2 diesel versions Cat 4.4 and 6.6 l
Mower, u will recognize the 2 of them in Lillooet, I put them there
....... Cool, and I (and the crew) put in all of the trellis to hold up the grapes and prepped one of the tower sites. ( Which as I recall the foreman had it put in the wrong place or some such)..... On the first section we did, we put in 5600 posts in 52 hours. Rattled the bejeesus out of my poor machine. Last time I did work for them I pulled out 1200 or so plants that didn't make the winter a couple years ago.

My point was that they burn clean enough indoors whereas a gasoline or diesel engine can't be used.
Propane does not produce carbon monoxide. That is why it is used in equipment that works in enclosed areas.

I have many years of research and development that says you have both been misled.

Propane produces CO and other pollutants too. I agree that it produces less CO than older gasoline vehicles and that is why it was used in enclosed spaces. But things change with time even though old perceptions and habits don't. New gasoline vehicles produce way less CO and other pollutants than any aftermarket propane fueled engine of today does.

With a modern gasoline engine you won't die from CO poisoning in an enclosed room with a running engine anymore. Those days are long gone. They don't produce fatal levels of CO anymore. Instead, you will die from Asphyxiation because the engine will consume all the oxygen in the room in the process of turning fuel and air into Carbon Dioxide (CO2) and water (H2O). That stuff you see coming out of a tailpipe in the winter is mostly just water vapour. But just mention pollution and the media will immediately show you a video of a car in the winter spewing steam.

I can easily appreciate that you might not believe me. If so, send me a PM and I'll tell you a bit more about my expertise in this area.
