Wanted: Mill Power Feed

Oh my....i just checked Amazon tracking and now its in WINNIPEG!!!! I wonder where they are sending it.
To funny,,, That's like flying to Paris for a holiday and your luggage does a world tour and three weeks later meets back home.
TomO - I thought about attempting to cut a keyway but have decided against it. I hate having to unexpectedly modify new stuff because it is not what is advertised. I knew going in I would new to make an adapter plate but cutting up the brass gear and who knows what else. I'll wait and see what they come up with.

I've given up trying to figure out how CP stages packages for delivery. I've had stuff ping-pong all over the place but they have never lost anything on me so far. And lots of times they deliver 2-3 days earlier than predicted.

Craig

Woaha there Craig ....... giving CP credit? Hahahahaha

I’ve often wondered if I could handle the boredom in order to get the pension ........ don’t think so. USPS runs circles around our postal service, I’m really embarrassed to use them at all

My 10 cents

Or cut a new keyway I’d look more at functionality than brand they are probably the same guts in it.

Well had an impulse buy off eBay last Sunday and look at what arrived today. Not sure that it will work with my machine but like I say it was an impulse buy.

Taxes..... can’t help you there. BUT.... Busy Bee will likely have a “price match” guarantee though. So you might be able to buy it for $507 in Alberta, with better taxes and n

I finally asked Amazon where the heck they were sending my pf unit and they told me their "system" often gets customers tracking numbers screwed up and that my package is actually in Calgary and on its way here. Good grief.

I didn't know BB did price matching

I had a light bulb moment when I was up for a nature break during night. Instead of cutting a new keyway in the brass gear, why not cut a new key that has 3/16 for the bottom half and 3 mm for the top half. I do know someone with a milling machine,, duh, so I'm going to keep the machine and make a workable key.
Funny how phrases gather new meanings as you get older, it used to be that an "all nighter" meant staying up and partying till dawn, now it just means sleeping thru the night not having to get up and go pee three times.

That's what I meant back in post 50 it's much like the crankshaft timing keyway that is offset the speed shops sell.

DP - did you check the lead screw on both ends? On a whim I check the left side of my lead screw and,,,,uhm,,,, well,,,,there is a 3/16 AND a 1/8 keyway:oops:. All the whining I did before about not having the small keyway and it was on the other end of the screw. I'll start an install write up in the next couple of days.

No i didn't, I just took a quick look without disassembly. My pf is "supposedly " scheduled to arrive today but I won't be able to attempt install until about Friday. You're going to have to be the pioneer on this install and I will look for your write up before I begin. Good luck.
