Testing Thread, come here to try things out.

Tom O, that's assuming the voice recognition will be able to identify and translate...some pitches in voice, lip speed and so on, seem to baffle these things...I've tried modulating my voice, paying close attention to my pronunciation, even down to making certain there isn't any background noise to confuse my device...and it still wants to order taco's or toothpaste from a weed store in northern Ontario...
So I don't bother much with "talk to text" lol...I'm not even 50 yet and some of this new tech drives me bonkers

Works fine on my end Steve. Now try one with a space like @Dan Dubeau .

Dan, you can just ignore this thread. Steve is having problems with user names with a space in them and we are doing some testing.

Hi, Gary,

Nice job on the DRO installation. May I make a couple of sugestions for loading photos?

I rename my photos with the date and a brief description so I will know what they are; I also keep all photos in separate folders labeled with the original post date and subject so I can access them if needed later. It is also best to crop photos to eliminate "extra" content that doesn't add to what you are showing (see the cropped version of your photo later in this post); phones and computers all have this capability in their included software/apps.

I add photos by using the bar at the top of the posting window:
Menu Bar.png

Click where you want the photo to go, then click the Photo Button:
Add Photo.png

An Upload Window will open, and you can either drag the photo to the window, or if you are using your phone another drop-down will open giving you options of where to find the photo:

Drag (or select from Library or wherever) the cropped photo to the box and it will appear in you post:

Click on the photo and another menu opens, along with "handles" at the corners of the photo:

I don't use the tools because they can be fiddly:

but instead grab one of the handles and drag to adjust the size of the photo:

Smaller displayed photos take up less space on the page and are easier on anyone reading the post on a phone; if someone wants to see a larger image, all they need to do is click on the photo which opens it in a new window where they can zoom in by clicking on the image again (using you original photo as an example:

Take a look at this post for an example:

And feel free to ask me questions or to reach out to the Moderators.
