  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Is anyone close or anyone bidding? I have some interest in a few items but no shipping would mean I would have to have someone closer to help me out, understanding the challenges of traffic in the GTA.

Over a dozen, which is to say, ~four dozen. :p

I've had a brief look at the auction, and while there's nothing I can't live without, it's pretty solid.
I appreciate the reasonable buyer's premium, and conducting the auction in the currency of the country it's ____ing held in. Guess the letters!

Is there any interest in, say, 'declaring intent'? The amount of money people can throw at things varies. I'm not interested in driving up a sale price idly to an amount I can afford to lose (it's not that much), when someone else is after something they've been pursuing on a budget for, say, ten years. I don't want it to lead to bad blood, but if folks can arrive at a gentleman's/women's (let's be optimistic about our demographics) agreement, that seems useful, to me anyway.

If I had to start, the Harig Grind-all looks interesting, and I'd be interested to the tune of... $250 total. So, a bid of ~$190.
 
I don't think I have time to drive things around the province in the near future, but I can certainly offer pick-up at work or home (both Etobicoke, bottom of the 427), most any waking hours.
Work van's a 2010 Ford E350 XLT Super Duty, so I could probably cram a good bit of the auction in there. :)

dont worry, while the harig and the other grinding fixtures are among the lots we have tagged, we wont bid since you've declared an interest. I was more loooking to see if it would go for a deal and then pass it along to a member at cost because we have a plethora of grinding fixtures.

The same with many of the lots, like taps, or the metal, or the levels, the grinding wheel dresser, but I do need mills, and drill bits so expect me to bid vigorously on such things.. and some metrology stuff

The CHMW pony express can help.

I can deliver stuff to the GTA east, and the Milton/Guelph area, and I could possibly help ship smaller packages for the cost of the shipment.

Oh wow is there ever alot of goodies in there. I'd be watching about 75% of those lots and bidding on anything that looked like a deal :P
