Life transition

@YotaBota @Elektrishun I'll probably take the TIG course as well when it opens up. I have both types of machines so it makes sense to have a clue how to use them better.

Learning something new is always a good thing......... like that time I learned to not piss off an angry cop. 🙄
Most of my Learning it seems came from outside the school system. 😛

Grade 10 science teacher tried teaching us that wood doesn't burn 🙄

Did a TIG course at Camosun years ago, was well worth it.

I'm hoping for the same experience 🙂

I'd like some actual instruction.

Be prepared to nag the instructor as needed. He has 20 other people to attend to, and if your wheel does not squeak it won't get greased.

Figured I'd post this here on Dave's thread cause ......well it just seems like what we do.

Couldn't help but wonder what the replacement cost on this would be.

Not sure, but you dropped your wallet when you were here, so I reckon we can find out...... 🙄 😉 😉

J/k 🙄

Curious what that bearings application is? (my contribution to thread drift....)

Knowing those guys, it's prolly a regular size bearing and they used AI to create the illusion of large size using microscopic furniture.

Come on, you know I can't spell AI

As I'm nearing the end of my year of paid severance I applied for my pension today. Jan 1, 2027 marks the start of actual retirement.

So then you'll finally have time to finish up all those silly projects that you started and never finished................Oh, shit. Never mind.

You better hurry up with all those projects then. It's a well known fact that free time doesn't exist in retirement. Once you retire, you will probably become normal.

I am not sure if it will make difference, possibly other then money wise. Do you have any unfinished projects that are more than 7 days old?

I don’t know if David has kids

Just the MGB, 500,000 house projects and 10,000 shop projects.

Are kids ever a finished project?

[Doggggboy]

Did the Spitfire deal fall through?
Or have you finished it and sold it already?

[whydontu]

Welcome to retirement! Now you have to decide - will you be the 5 AM to 9 PM early bird old guy, or the 10 AM to 1 AM nite owl old guy?

And don’t forget you’re now allowed to go grocery shopping at 10 AM on Tuesdays.
