Tool
Thanks Len. If it has auto-shutoff, I don't mind waiting.

If it doesn't, or if it fails, then we have a problem.......
Here is the answer . . .

Product Details

The DEWALT Lithium Ion Air Inflator/Deflator offers unmatched versatility. It runs on a 20V MAX battery, 12V DC power cord, or 110V AC power source. Based on the reviews, I probably should have never made the $30 impulse purchase that I picked up at home depot on a whim...but decided to try it out for myself:

Company I worked for 20 years ago had “Item Numbers” for each of their products; one of the most popular was U0002 - it was the second item they ever sold. As they grew they continued numbering items sequentially, but broke them into groups of 100’s so you could tell at least something about them from the number.

Maybe this is the 510th fastening tool they developed (or 5xx means fastening and it’s the 10th)?

…Some tools are just meant to have cords.
I think so too. I’m a real Luddite when it comes to battery powered devices and will pick corded if it’s a tool that doesn’t really need to be portable (for my usage pattern).

Currently my list of cordless tools is:
- Drill & Driver.
- Flashlight…

We did just get an electric lawnmower though- since my wife said that would allow her to mow the lawn sometimes (She has trouble starting our perfectly good gas powered mower and it’s heavier to push).

What's your list of corded tools?

More and more the cordless equivalents are just as good as their corded brethren, and I do find not having to deal with an extension cord or air hose to be kinda nice.

Splurge and buy her a Honda Steve. The Honda has really big rear wheels that push easily over a lawn. More importantly, when they say easy start, they really mean EASY START! The compression release is amazing. When you start them, the compression release activates so the engine spins up quickly and easily as though there was no spark plug in it. When you stop pulling the cord, it kicks in, engages the compression and starts amazingly. No more sore arm and easy pushing too. Worth every penny.

Trying something new, two minute tool reviews...I tend to pick up these relatively inexpensive tools that aren't worth a full review video, so figured I'd try a new quick format for them, have a few lined up, but starting here with the Jorgensen Mini Block Plane:

@SomeGuy I like your 2 minute review concept for a single tool quick look. A nice switch-up from your regular videos. Comparing several tools in less than 10 minutes would be tough but in general i like the KISS approach.
Your description/video of the Jorgensen mini wood plane was impelling enough that I ordered one. It arrived today. A two word description would include “quality” and “cute”. It is small but well built and solid.

PS: It came via Amazon at $23.99 + tax, free shipping. After ordering it, i saw it at KMS on sale at $16.99 (reg price $18.99+shipping). Guess I could have (should have) waited till my next KMS visit, but then that’s not me.

That's awesome! It is the cutest little plane but is actually well built I'd agree. I've been using it while doing trim in my basement to help with tighter fit up and it's perfect for that.
