just a gripe about can openers

That was it.
On another note I just found out that the can opener was invented around 50 years after the first cans because of the thickness of the tin so they were usually opened with a chisel. They made around 6 tins per hour in the beginning.
 
Since he died while slicing the cabbage, she had to open a can of peas for dinner...... Or I missed it as well. :rolleyes: :p

That doesn't make sense to me nor is it funny.

I think we both just don't get it. Our sense of humour is too off the wall and that isn't wacky enough. I might laugh if he was carving a roast, asked her to get some spices to put on it and she had brought him a can of humus.
