  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area. Iit has been almost 2 weeks since he offered the shop for sale for $19,999. So, now, the price on both Kijiji and Fecebook Marketplace is...$29,999!! I know there has been a bit of inflation, but 50% in a fortnight?!? ;)

The seller has quite a few other for sale listings (24 on Kijiji). Mostly metalworking and motorcycle stuff. Also ads offering to make custom spur gears. And ads wanting to buy metal lathes. So very odd.

Something very fishy is going on with this deal. Seller could be some kind of a flipper - which would explain the high price. Multiple red flags, such as refusing to provide more images.

Maybe it's his weird way of generating business for himself.

Very strange tho, but he has a tonne of ads for a lot of different things definitely a rebuilder

Or maybe it's the "honey I'm trying my best to sell it but no interest" price lol
