DavidR8's shop shenanigans

The wife quit growing peas in her garden...couldnt keep the deer out of them...at least she called them pea's...I call them "deer bait".
When they get a taste for peas you cant keep them out without high fencing.
Well they are in the ground. Not visible easy to see is an almost invisible bird mesh that should at least prevent the rabbits. Deer would likely just push but then the holes are so small that getting a tongue or mouth through would be interesting.

In either case the seeds were free from the seed planting workshop (which was also free) so the only thing I'm out is time and some mesh netting. Tomorrow I'll build an easier to open entrance (for humans) so I can plant the bean seedlings and a bunch of flowers.

I put an e-fence around my pond. The wet soil makes the fence extra effective. Once in a while a deer manages to get past the fence or doesn't know which way is safe. Then all hell breaks loose out there!

I hate doing it, but those Lilly suckers will clean me out if I don't!

Hurray! My mag scale reader was delivered before the postal strike!
Good lord, we can't catch a break around here no how....... Even a bloody postal strike looming somehow works to his advantage.
I do feel a little bit better though when I think of how uncomfortable those horseshoes must be when he sits...... Jeepers! Is it possible that he can't sit and maybe we should feel a little bit sorry for him?;):p

This Jessem dowel jig is an excellent tool. Made in Canada and it just works. Perfect joints every time for me.
Hit my line exactly.

Same one I have. Works well, the heater is great but takes forever to get to temperature if the tank is full so you need to allow for that if you want the extra cleaning results from hot cleaning fluid. Big enough to easily clean carbs
The smaller one was exactly the same; plan for at least 36-48 hrs of time for it to come to temp :D
Now I just fill it with boiling water.
