Looking for a CDN supplier of an inexpensive VFD. I need a 1.5kw 240v plain jane single to three phase converter.

TIA

E-motors direct would be my choice.
Wait, you said inexpensive... sorry won't be e-motors....

I looked at them but they don't do inexpensive otherwise they would be my first choice as well.

I should really call them and see what the have off website, might get a surprise.

I'm running a unit I purchased from ISS INTERNATIONAL Inc in Coquitlam
So far, it's been great.
Found them by way of FB Marketplace...
Unlike most sellers, this guy provides proof of purchase.
Will gladly provide tech support, and stands behind his gear.
It was under 350 plus shipping

Do you have a link ?

Called emotors, they only have what's on the site. The least expensive they have is a TECO at $400 which way more than I want to spend right now.

Do any of the mentioned suppliers sell a Made-in-Canada product? If not, why insist on Canadian? Get it directly from China and use the savings to buy Canadian beer or wine!

@jcdammeyer - thanks for the link, I've never bought directly from any of the off shore merchants but I may do this. I can get $100 vfd's online that are made in China but delivered from somewhere else but I can see cutting out the middle man.

@kstrauss - Just to clarify, I was never asking for a Made-in-Canada product as I never found one and don't believe there is one. Canadian suppliers (that I've found) of VFD's don't seem to sell the inexpensive, read cheap, units.

To the Moderators - I have no issue with you deleting what may be considered by some political rhetoric but implanting your words in place of mine,,,,,, not cool.

Fixed. I inserted my own words in an attempt to make sure the reader understood you were kidding. With the politics removed it read like you were serious. I apologize.

If I buy Chinese I will probably get one with double the output of what the motor is rated. The VFD will be used in a hostile environment (belt grinder) so I really don't want to spend $400 on a TECO and then subject it to that kind of abuse. I only need it to output three phase to run the motor.
