AXA Tool Holder for Tapered Cut Off Blades

Ahhhh Bill.... You sent me the AXA tool holder.....

Not just the blade holder.. I need to pay you for the AXA tool holder at the very least.....

For what it's worth I never had any issues with blade creep or blade loosen with this holder as long as you button it down. Believe the widest diameter I parted off was a 2" incher with no chatter. Use a good lubricant and feed slowly.

I need to tap this and part it off into adjustment nuts. Might not happen until March now:(

Thanks for the tool holders.

Hey Craig, ouch that looks sore. Hopefully the medicine man gave you some pain killers.

Be extremely careful out there!

Hey Bill,

This cut off blade you sent me is amazing........

If you keep the tool clear the chips just peel off in swirls. I've never experienced this before.....

I'll have to keep this blade as a model for grinding the rest of my blades.

Thanks,

Craig

Can you share more details so the rest of us can get one and enjoy the experience too?

This kind of explains it all....

But Bill @Dusty seems to have nailed the proper tool geometry....

I just zipped off another three nuts. No drama. No problems.

Amazing...
