Well the only hiccup is that I cannot seem to connect to the printer via the app or the slicer.
It’s online as I can see it on my network but the app and slicer think it’s offline.

No experience with your printer, but sometimes you can assign it an IP address and then tell the software what the address is. That way it doesn't have to find it. It already knows.
 
is it using klipper & mainsail?


i know with klipper/mainsail or octoprint you just use a browser and go to the ip

Unfortunately it’s using the Anycubic version of Klipper. Which I can’t get behind the scenes and mess around.
Me thinks it’s a signal strength issue, only seeing -40db on the printer.

ahh thats probably more reliable than the generic version of klipper, regular klipper has bugs

i wonder if the wifi antenna is not connected to the board...or is it 10 miles from your router ?

It should be ok as I have a booster in the basement about 15 feet from the printer. I get over 200mbps on my laptop.
I might try a nano wifi adapter
 
Ok I got it to show up in the app and slicer.
I did a full reset of the printer.
Added the printer to the slicer via the CN code
Suddenly it appeared online in the app and then in the slicer.
Happy days!

I'm definitely a believer in the Anycubic Kobra S1 with ACE Pro.
Printed eight spool rims so I can use cardboard spools in the Ace Pro. Perfect results.
Printed one of @phaxtris tap holders. Perfect result.
Printed an Infinity cube for my kid. Perfect result.
The ability to easily swap filament colours between prints is really convenient. Haven't tried multicolour printing yet.
