  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area. Don’t be shy, sign up and come, or plan your own meetup!

Ya I try not to let my wifee into the shop either. ;)

Where do you come up with this stuff! You make me laugh even when I'm miserable!
There is no WIFI in my shop.

Do you have WiFi in the house? If so, a WiFi extender should be able to bring the signal into your shop.

My shop is about 150 meters from the house. But I have WiFi in the shop too. Might be something @Janger could do for you as a token of gratitude for donating your shop space and time.

Great event, great turnout! I was only able to stay for a couple of hours as I was passing through on the way back to SK however it was great to see the usual suspects and meet some new people.

Drooling over Rudy's shop/equipment is always a bonus, and I thought for the next meetup we could raffle off a Deckel machine, doesn't matter which one, they are all gorgeous.

Did anyone try the 4 jaw centering, I was going to and forgot. I think Deckel envy, and envy over an organized shop that a person can find tools etc. And a lot of listening, talking.
I am still trying to find things nearly 2 years later, i'am sure I loaded that in the stock trailer/truck/jeep/covered trailer and it was unloaded here. Which trip?
It gives me an image/result that I can try to work towards.
Thank you again to organizers and host
