    Sine Bar

    My fist attempt at a 5 inch sine bar. It still has to be polished a little more, too bad I don't have a surface grinder. I managed to get the distance between the rolls with in 2tenths. So plenty close for me.

    I have a Sherr-Tumico inside micrometer set for sale. I've had for about 8 years and never used it. not likley I ever will, so it's time to move it.     Tool Lathe Tool Height Adjuster

    Finally broke down and made a tool height adjuster. Funny how a simple project can consume a few hours on the lathe. It's made from a piece of 1 1/2" hydraulic rod. Final diameter is 1 1/4" Hardest part was getting thru the chrome layer. Fortunately a CBN insert did the job.
