Finally broke down and made a tool height adjuster. Funny how a simple project can consume a few hours on the lathe.
It's made from a piece of 1 1/2" hydraulic rod. Final diameter is 1 1/4" Hardest part was getting thru the chrome layer. Fortunately a CBN insert did the job.
