    Windows-11

I run windows 11 on my desktop. I built my own computer too. I don't mind messing around to get things configured the way I want them. The biggest difference I noticed is splitting the screen into multiple windows is easier. Also you can add or remove displays while windows is running and it...

What did you do for a career and would you pick it again?

I am a machinist, it is pretty fun. It is also a timed event so you need to get excited about working quickly. I work with engineers and draftsman who come down to the shop and actually make stuff. It helps them learn to design better parts. It is also a good way to take a break from the...

    Tips/Techniques Hydraulic Rod

Low sfm. 70sfm works good for what I am cutting. That means a 1.5" rod would machine well at 180rpm. Keep the feed rate high. Ten or fourteen tho. Per revolution. The hard exterior is chrome on the rods I am machining and is about .125 thick.

    Tips/Techniques Hydraulic Rod

I can probably help with this. I machine hydraulic rods at my day job. The Secret is to try and get under the hard outer layer in one pass at low speed and then the center part of the rod is actually pretty soft. On a 3.25" rod I take .25" off in the first pass at 80 rpm with a sandvik CNMG...

    Drones.

I am definitely trying! I have a Blade 230s. I split my time flying in Real Flight using VR and my dx7 controller. Then I can take the same controller to the field and attempt my maneuvers with the actual Helicopter.
