After reading your message I went out and screwed down the end to the stub.It appears to only ratchet one way as it should.Must be pretty specialized.

Now that I have mine replaced I wouldn’t mind doing another one.What would it take to buy the one you have,if it is just the small back gear that needs repair.You could send a picture to my e-mail at repettigrew@bell.net.

I have now fixed the back gear by ordering a new gear from the practical machine St.I machined off the shaft and installed the new gear.Works great. Made a nice project out of it.

I have a 9a Southbend.let know what the cost is.A lot of work there and probably more than my budget.

They are one piece and the smaller one is the one with the missing teeth.Really appreciate the off.
