What Projects Are You Considering This Winter?

Ughhh, those contractors that the city uses are quite the characters ..... I ended up with the number of the Enmax/City area manager around my old place .... the Drivers were great at dumping the bins halfway down the laneway, dumping half the contents, or just failing to pickup altogether ...

    sucking in SK

You could do what we do for diving and invest in a gas booster to move gas from rented bottles into our own..... If you are doing O2 and ‘dirty’ gas, I’d keep a dedicated booster for O2 (we do O2 and Helium) But the amount of gas we go through on CCR is fairly small, so the demurrage on tanks...

What Projects Are You Considering This Winter?

Now that I’ve just sold everything ... and I mean everything! Everything looks like fun project from small Wobbler engines, co2 cars, random things..... Sigh, I guess that’s the way it goes... time to drift off to YouTube and sketch out on sketchup! Time to make a new plan for larger...

    Sherline lathe/mill and tooling

Well, this year has been quite the understatement! Made me realize a bunch of things, one I really enjoy this hobby, and two, when I have time for it, I can’t afford it, and I have too many hobbies already. I’ll update this post or thread next week with more details, but here is the general...

Changes to Fusion 360 for personal use

Doesn’t change a thing for me, aside from me using it less :p The job shop I use uses fusion, but they’re good with my drawings I send out... I’d like to be more proficient with it, but I don’t have a huge need for the extra features. Brad

New forum category idea - project plans?

There is a free version of sketch up... Sketchup Make 2018 (or 2017... can’t remember at the moment) I found it hard to use initially, coming from an AutoCAD and NURBS background, but once you figure out the method, it gets a lot easier and quicker! (Draw a profile and ‘push/pull’ it into 3d...
