Stumbled upon this on Kijiji for 50 dollars. It’s no bullet vise but I still think it’s well worth what I paid. Minor damage (apprentice marks) , and missing one of the lower pipe jaws. Should be a nice little restoration project.

Looking to outfit my garage with a natural gas heater for the coming winter months. Gas line tie in is in the basement just below the garage (so not far of a run). Can anyone recommend a good installer in the Calgary/Airdrie area?

When tested under power at the sellers house, forward and neutral worked fine. But when engaged in reverse a humming noise came from the motor. He said it would eventually trip out the breaker. So I’m assuming to get at the lower threading gear box I’ll have to remove the entire head stock gear...
