Took a break from clearing weeds and other crappy jobs to finish prepping the grinder parts and priming them.


There are some really porous tig welds on there I didn't really notice until hitting it with primer 😳. I'm not fixing them now.....

......with an attitude like that, you march your a$$ back out there young man and do it right. 😉 😛

A little bead of paintable chalking and a moist finger and so many sins just disappear.....😉

Damn, just painting it exeeds expectations around these parts... 🙄

The funny part is, I obviously saw it when I welded it, and said "nah, that's good....". But I don't remember, it's been so long ago now.....The primer makes it much much more noticeable though. I'm using a hammertone paint, so it should hide it. If not....some filler will do....

Yeah, not many projects make it to paint around here. But I'm trying to do better. My least favourite part of the process, but sometimes the most rewarding.
