Really ?

IMG_6488.jpegI suck at finding threads, the "buy / support Canadian business" one.

Anyway, buy all the pocket calendars you can!! Proudly made in Canada. Pleasant surprise today 🙂

Nope, last DVD binder I bought used off Kijiji

I'd try Shoppers for your 3" floppy "binder pockets"

You might if it were 1990. I've found them in the local thrift shop and on ebay - rarely.

Seriously, though, if you need DVD binders I might still have a couple I can spare.

On Facebook Marketplace I had an item up for FREE and "first come takes it away". As soon as someone nabbed it off my front lawn I listed the item as "sold" and contacted anyone who "claimed" to be on their way that it was gone. Almost 2 hours later a person asks if it's gone and I reply "Yes, it is gone." They got mad and left an unflattering comment and rating. My reputation as a giver of good free items has been sullied. All I did the last time I missed a free item was reply "No problem, thanks."😀

What I hate is the ones that don’t answer for a day or so or saying they are not in town waiting for the best offer.

It's almost impossible to give away stuff online (bookface, kijiji, etc.) and not encounter assholes, so we just don't do it.

Instead, we take stuff out to the dump (actually the thrift shop out at the Okotoks dump, operated as a nonprofit).

Just seen one of those "message from the government of Canada" where it was showing various people working. Something about making "Canada strong".

Anyway, a 2 second clip showed somebody on a jobsite using a handsaw to cut through a 2x4.

Interesting...didn't see any doctors treating patients while smoking a cigarette. I mean, if they're going for consistency of the time in which these events are occurring.

Apparently hospitals used to have smoking rooms, you could go in for surgery and nip down the hall for a dart first

I remember smoking in the hospital following surgery many moons ago, using hospital supplied ashtrays. All drs offices had ashtrays in the waiting room and parents hung out in the hallways of schools where smoking was permitted during xmas concerts etc... Ah, the "good" old days. 🙄
