I'm looking for 3 replacement screws (m2 thread) for a camera lens I'm repairing.

I would have attempted them myself but my lathe is in pieces right now being converted to CNC--and I'm not sure I'd have the skill for this anyway!

Attached are pictures (just for scale, I can provide any more specific dimensions you need).

If you're local (Maple Ridge, BC) I can bring the old ones by for you to measure!

They look like fun to make. I'd prolly start by modifying some M4 or M6 screws.
I wish the pics were better, or would open to larger high resolution ones.

I have a fair amount of screws from photographic equipment I can look thru.

The ability to make this type of screw is why I got my chipmaster lathe and collet chuck.

Does the shoulder diameter have to mate some other part feature to some specific tolerance?
Found this on Aliexpress under 'shoulder screw' but not 100% sure what's going on. Their table does not show dimension D for M2 even though I've selected it. Table starts at 4 (presumably M4). But dimension D is always a bit less than nominal so with fingers crossed, might be like your drawing measurements? Maybe poke around Ali on your own or maybe has something in the spare parts bin. Its not horrible to make but it would have to be a straight (slitting saw made) head in my shop.

Just curious - did you ever run across a filter size and thread standard or standards?
most "normal" filter sizes use 0.75mm pitch. Larger filters over ~90mm use 1mm pitch. But there are old lenses especially smaller lenses on tlr cameras that use 0.5mm and enough odd stuff in old gear that you need proprietary filters
 
I am assuming he needs the straight segment shoulder for some reason (TBC). In short length screws like that, typically the thread goes pretty close to underside of head.
Now maybe the straight segment could be turned from a SHCS head (read area removed). But it may intersect the socket driver hex. I might have that 3D file loaded already, I'll check

Yes that needs to mate.

Essentially it mounts a slider for the zoom that rotates as it slides. The thread goes into the body and the slider (plastic slider with metal washer, lubricated) is stabilized by the shoulder.
