  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area. Don’t be shy, sign up and come, or plan your own meetup!

Pennsylvania A3 Switcher Errata

Hey everyone! I hope this is the correct sub-forum in which to post this.

A viewer recently sent me a precious long-lost document. There was once a community effort to document all known errors in Kozo's A3 book and it was posted on Yahoo Groups. Yahoo Groups went away many years ago and nobody archived it, so this errata was thought lost. Well, someone had it and sent it to me! I have cleaned it up and am now hosting it on my site, with my own thoughts added.

Hope someone finds this useful!

If anyone knows the original authour, please let me know so I can update it and credit them.

A bunch of the Yahoo groups seem to have been transferred to groups.io (I had never heard of Yahoo Groups until well after it was defunct, so somebody please correct me if I have that wrong). I see that there is a "Builders of Kozo's Engines" group on there. Could that be the successor to the one you mentioned? I'm not a member there, so I can't see if they have a file section/what's in there. It doesn't look very active (last post in 2023), but might be worth checking out anyway.

Love your channel Quinn. You’re one of the reasons I got back in to machining. I like that you show your mistakes, which helps the novice machinist like myself avoid doing them. Watching the building of the A3 switcher has been great. My favourite build so far might be a minor one, but very useful has been the cross drilling fixture. As to the original question, I think sightlessseer might have an answer.
