Nice mill. Is that a PM935 type?
Both a wood crane and the PA crane will have to remain erect, and will take up that space. It looks like that's not a problem for you (it would be for me)

Yes, this is indeed the PM935. I also have PM1340 lathe and PM940CNC. Since then, 1/2 of the garage is my workshop and the other half is for the car. I am tight on space. I think I have a way to keep the PA crane erect and it would be useful that way. The wood crane is just too bulky.Nice mill. Is that a PM935 type?

yes, kind of. I stand corrected as @John Conroy shows the 2 ton is stronger than I believed. I'm a little squeamish about the 1 ton and lifting even 1000 lbs with it.your numbers of 750 and 2000 lbs just being cautious and conservative
I have seen this photo, either in this thread or in another. I plan to do the same. It is mostly out of the way and as good of a place to store it as any. It would be handy whenever I need it.My crane stores mostly out of the way straddling the length of my 1440 lathe. I am also limited to half of a double garage.

Thank you. I like this forum a lot and I will slowly introduce myself and share what I have done so far. I appreciate all the ideas and shared experience from everyone here.@salahz Welcome to the forum! We'd love to have you write a little about yourself for the 'Introduction' section... What part of Canada you live in, and what type of stuff you are interested in... etc.
