This might take the cake for the least effort I've ever seen put forth for making a machine tool ad. I thought it was already a low bar, but this guy just limbo'd under it without slowing down....At least he identified it was a lathe....

Oh, it's a lathe. I can even tell is has a tailstock too....

I gotta admit, if it were closer, I'd be curious enough to go have a peak. If I bought it, I'd pay with cash wrapped in saran wrap .

Pennies, stuck to the middle of 2” duck tape and tightly rolled (good project for a six year old).

Can't help but also laugh at the irony of this lathe all wrapped up but stored indoors, vs all those other machine tools that get dragged outside and left to die in the elements. Only to be offered for sale months later when the rust sets in at stupid prices.

How do we know this one isn’t also rusted under the protective wrapping?

True, we don't.....Maybe they wrapped it AFTER a few months sitting outside.....

It's worth $.07 a pound as scrap metal. It appears to have a cast base and if it in the 12" x 36" range it would probably weigh close to 1000 Lbs. So $70.00 delivered to a scrap yard.
