  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. I'm not sure on the model but I think it's a 12x36 or thereabouts, as I expect the photo of the tapemeasure that shows ~48" is measuring from the end of the bed.

It's hard to tell the condition from the terrible photos, but it looks like it might be missing some parts for the headstock. The price is certainly worth a look if you're in the market!

looks like it has the taper attachment, headstock looks like it's going to need a lot of work and money
 
Maybe a deal for someone that collects these and rebuilds them. Otherwise it feels to me like you are buying a project lathe.

But I am no expert on these old things - it just looks strange towards headstock.

I would agree on the headstock - doesn't look like what comes to mind when when I hear the name "Monarch". A little more "Gingery".
