Been a year or two, but I paid that for my first Myford, an ML7...

I still see the odd Myford pop up at not all that much more than that, considering the difference in build quality...
 
Suspect trevj, your local market is better supplied with Myfords than Manitoba. I do see the odd ML7 and more frequently Super7’s here, but a fair amount higher than this ads far eastern lathe. Like double or more.

Having said that, if was looking (I’m not) I would definitely agree with the subtle suggestion of trevj- not that great a machine for the asking price.
 
I bought my first Myford in Saskatchewan, so, probably comparable to about anywhere in Manitoba.

They are not exactly thick on the ground anywhere, but you find what you look for...
