Thats the machine I have. Bought new from Ted Sharpe for about $8000 in 1999. It's not as tall as the full size BP so its easy to reach the drawbar. Very nice machine for the home shop!
Out of curiosity mostly, what's the distance from the floor to the top of the motor? And as the head is tilted doesn't the outside flat part of the motor go a little bit higher?Thats the machine I have. Bought new from Ted Sharpe for about $8000 in 1999. Especially since the Russian restaurant no longer exists in the Grand Forks Hotel.The biggest strike against it that I can see is that it's in Midway, which is pretty much midway to nowhere in particular....... ( My apologies to those in Grand Forks etc)...
That mill looks taller in the photo.6 ft 9" to top of motor;
5 ft 8" yo top of drawbar
And yes if the head is nodded, it will raise the top height a bit.

I have a fairly crude photocopy which I can share. Its very similar to the Bridgeport Series 1. If you can find a Series 1 manual, then that would basically be the same thing!@Arbutus - do you know of a softcopy of the manual? I did some looking around and didn't find a manual for this model.
This from the guy who lives half way between the boonies and the toolies.The biggest strike against it that I can see is that it's in Midway, which is pretty much midway to nowhere in particular....
