Hi Guys,
My wife had worn glasses from been a child and was very short sighted. After having cataract surgery on both eyes about six weeks apart, she discovered that she didn't need glasses at all, going from short sighted to normal vision ! Surprise surprise it upset her greatly, having worn glasses all her life she felt odd without them. What upset her the most was that the grandchildren didn't recognise her without glasses.
Going back to the opticians, they recommended that she had a pair of very slight correction lens glasses, which she did, she also had them coated with light sensitive stuff that causes the lens to darken in bright lights. Net result she is now quite happy and the children like her with the new glasses. Shockingly the new glasses only cost her/me £16.00p. I paid more than that for my readers !
