Insert sources

For everything else I pay the price and go Kinnemetal.

@Dabbler What is your go-to source for Kennemetal inserts in Calgary? Do you have a mail-order vendor you use?

There are always references to DGI/Thomas-Skinner etc, but I'm looking for an online experience ( like KBC). I don't treasure the experience as a hobbyist at most of these places (get the feeling they want commercial traffic) -- and I get the perspective from the business side too.

Thomas Skinner will gladly sell to anyone. You don't need an account. But pickup is at their location. Shipping is kind of the iffy thing depending on your situation because it goes Purolater (? might be wrong on name but anyways CDN courier). But that service requires receipt signature, not drop-off. So someone has to be there. I recall over 75$ was free ship but check with them on that.

I used to go to Edge Precision near your end of town. Over the past 7 years theyu have been very good. the last 2 times I went it didn't work out well.

There are several Kinnemetal suppliers in Edmonton with low cost or free shipping. I checked my emails and I can't find them! I'll update later.
