In the original kijiji ad for this (since taken down), in one of the pics there was an object that looked like a pair of some sort of V-blocks mounted on a rod, sort of like a mini barbell. Any idea what that might have been and does it belong with this ? Will I miss it ?
2 In the pictured plate someone has inserted pins and numbered each hole in the outer ring and it is mounted onto a stubby plug. What's all this about ?

Really, couldn't you turn it to size on your RT on the mill ?The plate could be bigger but I am limited to 14" on my lathe to make the plate itself.
I think the objects in question were a pair of Starrett 271 v-blocks with the alignment rod. It doesn't belong with the head.
