With a Myford going for $7k, this is a sweet deal if you've got the space... Down from $6000.

Gap bed, comes with DRO and multifix tool holder

The ”excellent for roughing but not so good for tight tolerances” statement is a bit of a red flag. But it is running so you could take a few cuts to check it out. It might just need some adjustment. Or maybe some expensive new bearings. Hard to say.

yeah, for sure. But if you can check it out and see if it is in fact that the ways are no good, or if it's something easily fixable like gib adjustment, levelling/alignment or something else -- might be worth it. For 3k, you'd have money left over for rigging, a transformer (i'm guessing it's probaly 550v 3ph) and vfd or rpc, and still be ahead vs a 7k myford :p
