How to machine these slots?

@Tom O : it does have some size. The back disc that the head bolts to is 7.480" diameter. The discs that clamp to the back of the ram are approx 4.650" in diameter and the space between them is 3.000". The bolt is roughly 7/8". I say roughly as the back ram section on my mill is painted. The 7.480 disc will need to be about 1 inch thick as the 4 bolts fit into a annular slot that allows the head to tilt. Should be an interesting project and make good use of the rotary table

A milling machine is already a hand shaper. You have to put your tool in a collet, lock the spindle, and use the quill to shape your splines. Takes forever, but produces a very nice result.
