Hi do you have a tip how to expand a stainless steel pipe

Can you just add a bushing between the pipe and whatever it attaches to? no welding and no unknown weakening of the pipe after expanding it.

Is this a structural component?

Have you looked into having an aircraft shop do this, then it's done to airworthiness specs.

The one thing with airplanes, when something goes wrong you can't just pull over to have a look.
