regarding sawstop: European saws have a more sophisticated safety system that doesn't misfire, and one that doesn't cost you nearly 200$ each time it fires. Vendors vary, instead of destroying your blade and the safety system. the saw shuts down, while lowering the blade without jamming it into soft aluminum.
