So I'm dropping the price to $1800 on the forum. $2000 on Marketplace.

And I found an extra 0-1" mic I will throw in with the Live Centre.

After getting advice from a couple of forum members, I'm putting the price back up. Patience is a virtue I guess, and I'll work on it. RIGHT NOW!

Irregardless of my previous post elsewhere regarding my lack of sanity, if you can swing trying the two lathe idea I think that you will find that two different sizes work together like two peas in a pod.....

Thanks to everyone who had wisdom and encouragement to share with me in this process. Lathes are scarce around here, and apparently so are buyers. But I met one yesterday.
