Chainsaws of the Forum

Always had Stihl around.

Current crop is a 20+ year old 026, a 461, and a 661 (under the bench awaiting reassembly. And a dozen or so weed-eaters/Forestry Saws...

Also have a Husky 288 that was given to me, fella found it in the ditch on a highway roadside, told me it started, but bogged when the throttle was applied... Worked pretty well, once the chain brake was reset...

I have an 034 Stihl, almost 40 years old. It has cut through well over a 100 cords of our local hardwoods. Made in West Germany. The original bar it came with, since replaced of course, was made right here in Canada.
