  • Several Regions have held meetups already, but others are being planned or are evaluating the interest. The Ontario GTA West area meetup is planned for Saturday April 26th at Greasemonkeys shop in Aylmer Ontario. If you are interested and haven’t signed up yet, click here! Arbutus has also explored interest in a Fraser Valley meetup but it seems members either missed his thread or had other plans. Let him know if you are interested in a meetup later in the year by posting here! Slowpoke is trying to pull together an Ottawa area meetup later this summer. No date has been selected yet, so let him know if you are interested here! We are not aware of any other meetups being planned this year. If you are interested in doing something in your area, let everyone know and make it happen! Meetups are a great way to make new machining friends and get hands on help in your area. Don’t be shy, sign up and come, or plan your own meetup!

I've been in touch. He prefers to sell the entire selection, but he's been on vacation, and hasn't organized things yet. He promises to be in touch; perhaps a group buy?
 
General Reminder: When working in the classifieds to be careful of any product you cannot inspect in person. Be careful about sending money to someone you have never met. etc.

It's come to my attention that that @kcpro2018 is asking:
$12000 for the lot - of 200 end mills or about $60 per end mill.

Please never send someone you've never met $12K without involving an escrow company of some form. Please be careful.

I've also noticed that several scam ads on kijiji in the past have often had some sort of "away/holiday or out of office" notice to them. Im not sure why but am suspicious of any such ad. While the above ad does not sound too good to be true, that is another bait I've also almost fallen for.

Anyone else get a hissy email from Mr. RetailPlus? Says we missed out on 20k+ worth of end mills and he got $4800

I told him to not contact me again. My top price, sight unseen, was 1K$ so he did well. I wish him the best.
