That looks like a heck of a deal, and if I didn't already have a TPG, I'd be on that like white on rice!

FWIW, chuck a sheet of aluminum foil, with a good spritz of aerosol cooking spray onto the lathe bed to protect the ways. Spritz on more if you are working heavy enough to see the grit dry and bouncy! :)
Clean everything as very well as you can after, anyways. This tip has saved me a LOT of cleaning!

It mounts in a t-slot on the cross slide

The t-slot nut has 1/2 NF bolt and fits into a 5/8 slot. The wider slot is 1 inch
The diamond dresser clamps between the ways.
The center height of both the TPG and the diamond dresser is adjustable

If you need more info let me know

Anyone with enough imagination, to see a use for a a TPG in the first place, should have no trouble at all making an adapter plate either to mount this direct on a compound slide, or one that would be held in any of many types of tool post holders.

Do the Trig yerselves, but IIRC, if you set the compound 3 degrees off from being parallel to the spindle, each thou of in-feed on the compound moves the cutter (grinding wheel) one tenth of a thou deeper in feed. This can give you REALLY fine control on depths of cut, if and when you need such.

Where abouts on Vancouver Island? Still kinda want... Don't NEED, but kinda want. LOL!

If you get that itch to use one, you can always pop by and borrow mine..... As long as a South Bend one is okay....
I also have an internal one that I believe came off a brake lathe....
