If you get that itch to use one, you can always pop by and borrow mine..... As long as a South Bend one is okay....Where abouts on Vancouver Island? Still kinda want... Don't NEED, but kinda want. LOL!
Parksville Qualicum BeachAnyone with enough imagination, to see a use for a a TPG in the first place, should have no trouble at all making an adapter plate either to mount this direct on a compound slide, or one that would be held in any of many types of tool post holders.
Do the Trig yerselves, but IIRC, if you set the compound 3 degrees off from being parallel to the spindle, each thou of in-feed on the compound moves the cutter (grinding wheel) one tenth of a thou deeper in feed. This can give you REALLY fine control on depths of cut, if and when you need such.

I already GOTS one, but it is a little different than this one.If you get that itch to use one, you can always pop by and borrow mine..... As long as a South Bend one is okay....
I also have an internal one that I believe came off a brake lathe....
