Anyone try Wamo / self-driving yet?

I never thought they would get rid of newspapers, poor old fish & chip shops.

Did a small group trip to England 30 years ago. One of the guys insisted we try fish n chips n mushy peas. The fish n chips came wrapped in newspaper. There was so much oil in it that it spilled out everywhere and got onto everything. It was horrible. He was in heaven. Just when I thought I had tasted hell, I tried the mushy peas. They tasted just like ipicac and had the same results. All of us were lined up outside ralphing.

I never had a good meal in England, China, or India. I think you have to be drunk to enjoy their food.

There are amazing dishes throughout Europe, but the best is Italy - the Italians don't know how to make a bad dish!

IMHO, I think every corner of the world has delicious food, much of it better tasting than typical Canadian cuisine.

Love Indian food!

Sort of agree with the typical British cuisine, except I experienced one of the best best meals of my life there, just so happened that the chef was from Paris.

Mediterranean is my favourite.

Really? How about...

Well, that's not Italy in my wife's books - she was born north of Venice. It's just an island where all the people like to eat fly shit. To her, it's sorta like people from downtown Toronto are to the rest of Canada. I'm not eating what they call food either.

Maggots are one thing that just makes my skin crawl and stomach turn.

Mine too.

We just hosted a Halloween party for my colleagues and they brought over some of the best biryani my partner and I ever had. I was told that to do it well takes several many different pots/pants each with their own steps before combining it together, and no restaurant would take that time and space just for biryani. Makes sense after tasting it.
