I’m in North Pickering, if that helps. I have to get mine as well. Not sure how much your getting, I’m thinking of taking the bike.
Everyone who doesn't have theirs yet is getting a US Quart in plastic engine oil bottles - $31.50 each. Thestelster has already paid. They are all already bottled so no need to bring an empty container.

the "plan", if tomorrow goes smooth, deliver into Strathroy Saturday morning then head to Aylmer

how's parking for a large vehicle?
Adding you to the PM for details.

Parking is zero problem. Getting to the parking may not be doable. Gotta drive through a ravine to get to the shop. I can't remember it well enough to give advice. I suggest parking on the road out front and walking in. It's not nearly as far as my laneway. See you there!

so, an update on Saturday's event, I have 2 guest speakers attending, 1 is my cousin named Scott, he owns his own full CNC machine shop and does this for a living, used to be an instructor for Fanshawe College in St. Thomas to teach CNC, he'll be bringing his laptop to plug into my big screen to show us some things he does/uses at home and at school, and... I've just heard back from Wise Line Tools in town, they will be attending (2) to bring an info package of their stores(2) and products and services they offer, they sell hand power tools, most popular brands, AND, they have a metal roll form shop in Tillsonburg to sell sheet metal for buildings, inside or outside, my house roof and shop walls inside came from them, prices are really tough to beat! so if you're into power tools, corded or battery, or are in the process or thinking about a shop, and need it covered in metal sheet, these will be the guys to talk to! They're coming bearing gifts and also asked if there might be a draw, I told him we'd figure something out! and the weather looks to be shaping up, so it should be a good day, hope I don't let anybody down with a lackluster performance on my part!! so @Susquatch , I don't know who's doing the head count thing, my cousin is bringing his boys (he's on dad duty for two boys 8ish), and Wise Line will be sending 2 guys out as well. hopefully this doesn't throw a wrench into things, porta-john is here, looks brand new!

No problem. I got extra sausages and I'm pretty sure the sandwiches will self multiply.

I wont be able to make this one as work has decided it wants to run early, but keep 'em going , I will attend eventually

kinda keeping an eye out for one of those bench top Kennedy toolboxes, if anyone has one for a real good price.... my new tool bech could use an ornament...

well, the Lads have all left, 19 attended, had 20 bacon/ham & cheese buns, and 12 sausage dogs, we ended up with 2 buns left, and a handful of cookies, so I think they were all well fed! I'm pretty sure all were entertained and engaged, also a huge thank you to Wise Line Tools for coming out and making a presence and talked about their wares and what they offer, the also brought free swag to give away and a dropped a $50 gift card for the gift table, and Scott G, (my cousin) for coming out and giving a 15min talk on everything CNC and programs related! and a huge thank You to all the attendee's for coming out to my humble shop, some from a good distance away, like 2 hrs I think!! I had a great time, everyone, and thank You all for the kind compliments! Got to learn some very interesting tips, anything from T slot bed clamping over-torques, to 3D printed parts for a high powered telescope mounting system. Awesome!

A VERY BIG THANK YOU @grease monkey for all the work you did to prep your shop for the meeting. :)
Yep - I checked the sign-in sheets. 16 CHMW members and 3 guests. That is a better turnout than expected or hoped for. Well done to all those that helped organize, contributed, and attended for this very successful meetup. :)

Also a special thanks to your wife for her help with the lunch. :)

What can I say.......WOW......

Great meetup. Better than anticipated. 19 people - in Aylmer no less! Wow! Including this Chicken character who showed up in a Transport Truck with a 53ft Trailer!

Just never enough time for all the one-on-one small talk.

Thank you to Pete and his wonderful DAUGHTER (@CWret messed that one up pretty good eh! ... I can't wait to watch him try to wiggle out of that one! ... Heh heh heh heh....)

Very interesting talks and presentations. But ya, yours truly is still pouting a bit cuz nobody but CWret wanted to learn everything they didn't want to know about Psychrometric Charts.

Nice to have guests who like tools too!

Photos yet to come in the full meetup report that will be posted in the members only section.

Next year will be at @Martin w in Niagara Falls!

Last but not least, a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who came!
