I made these two power fies, to be used away from the shop where power is not available.

The first was made from a block of Delrin, but the motor was too underpowered. It worked but tended to get very hot.

The second was made from a lump of 10mm ally, using a bigger motor. Plenty of power but the motor spins too slow, it works ok, but would be better with a faster RPM motor.

Both can be powered from a car battery or a cordles drill battery.

Cool build, what motors did you use ? That second one looks almost like a blower motor

I gotta ask, what is the situation you find yourself in that you needed these ? I imagine there must be a specific use you built them for ?

Crook hands and elbows. Fingers fused and no elbow joint left, so, files, hammers, screwdrivers, etc, are very difficult and painful to use. Besides that, why use a hand file when you can get an electric one.
